Remo: Just another usual movie : Quick Movie Review

#Remo is just another usual movie, cute, that's just it, not a wow script, much less comedy when compared to Sivas other movies, no romantic dialogues to be remembered, very simple music (When compared to 3, Maari, Ethir neechchal, Maan Karate and every other movie)  by Anirudh, well nothing extraordinary to mention.

Biggest negative point was the fact that Keerthi kept acting like a combo of a female Vijay and TR during important scenes, nallathane indha ponnu nadikum, its quite confusing why she did the whole overacting part this time 😕

Reasons to watch the movie:
1. Siva Karthikeyan
2. Pink

Yes, you read that right, pink, just like in Band Bajaa Baarat, the costume designer of Remo, has included hot pink in almost every dress worn by Keerthi 💖, kinda proving the fact that you can throw in hot pink in Kollywood too, while maintaining the K-Town style.

(Aaha Kalyanam failed miserably with the hot pinks and making the costumes unique)

Dil ke baath suno, Dimaag friend karo :: TAMASHA Quick Movie Review

This was posted on the 21st of September 2016, and now I finally decided to put it up on the blog.

#Tamasha, just watched, except for the scenes in Corsica, everything else till 1.50 hours is Bakwaas, does it make no sense?
But wait till you get towards the end, I think the main point is for us to feel what he feels.
I mean we've had our moments, where our heart desires to do something, but then, our society, or most importantly families, don't accept it, so there we are, frustrated to the core, unable to do what we HAVE to, and what we WANT to, stuck between the two, can't go with the flow, or the normal routine, and can't do what we actually want to.
Some people, are brave enough to walk in the path that their hearts desire, they do believe in a tomorrow, but they live the moment. These are the people who have control over themselves, and believe that this, their life is theirs to live.
Then there are others, they don't take the path of the heart, no, and they aren't happy with the brains path either. Each foot in a different path. Stuck between the past, present and future. Want to be happy, but want to live the life everyone else has planned out for you too. They aren't pessimistic, just confused over thinkers.
I can go on forever on this, but what I want to say is, as much crazy this movie is, you need to watch it, you will be doing yourself a favor there.
Consider Ranbir's character the exact opposite from the one portrayed in Yeh jawaani hai deewani.
Dil ke baath suno, Dimaag friend karo 😉

Things I learnt from James Rollins Novels and my Current Read

James Rollins is my most favourite favourite favourite author, I do read other authors work, but he be the best.
You can view his Facebook page here

Wanna know what I learnt from his novels:
LITERALLY EVERYTHING!

Art History, Lost Civilizations, Past Historical Events, a complete walkthrough of most of the top cities and countries, underground activities, etc etc.
Loads of Sci Tech, nano tech, satellites, neurology, genetics, pathology, chemistry, quantum physics, and what not?
Military operations, covert ops, green berets, RPGs, flash bombs, guns, all kinds of weapons and military related stuff.
(These are just a few I remember)

Basically, past, present and future, all combined at once, with a movie like script, are his novels.

The 1st 9 from the Sigma Force series, missing in the picture, Sixth Extinction and The Bone Labyrinth

As a devout Rollins reader, I, among many others, am waiting for his 2 upcoming books, from the Sigma Force series
1. Crash and Burn, a Sigma force short story, turned out to be a surprise for readers, already pre ordered on Kindle, so will be getting it in mid November.

2. The Seventh Plague, for which Rollins has been taunting the readers with clues already, will be releasing on the 13th of December 2016.

And the best part about James Rollins, is that he is down to earth, and is the only famous author I know who replies to comments on FB ASAP, or atleast gives a thumbs up, super cool 😎
Meanwhile, I finished Digital Fortress by Dan Brown in a week, had time to read only 2 hours a day, the rest, I caught up during the weekend, the last 100 pages were pure chaos and such a rush that I read them in 15mins max, lightning speed.
And Kindle offered me sample copies of a few novels based on the genre I preferred, which is basically Sci Fi Mystery Thrillers.
I started on Ready Player One by Ernest Cline, and was super frustrated when I figured out its a sample, desperately looked for a full copy and succeeded within the day, got the complete Ebook, and I'M HOOKED ON!
It's so addictive and amusing at the same time, if you love video games, or love being a geek, you will know my feeling, SO GOOD!
Will give a quick update when I'm done, and whenever possible 😉
