SPA CEYLON, the best find of 2017! So, for those of you who doesn't know me that much, I am a organic lover, and the kind who wants to go green, chemical free, save the planet and of course myself. 😁 For the past 6 months I went No-Poo and No Conditioner mainly because Sri Lanka didn't have sulphate free shampoo or silicone free conditioner. (Well, I did find a conditioner that was SULPHATE FREE, but dude, that is not the point about conditioners????!!) Every now and then I did cleanse using the African Black Soap which I got down from some African country, it was fair trade, and totally worth it. Diluted Apple cider vinegar did work as a conditioner, but no one said it was hassle free. And last weekend, just out of boredom, I googled Silicone free conditioner in Sri Lanka, I wasn't even expecting a positive result, but imagine my reaction when Spa Ceylon pops up?! I KNOW RIGHT! And until then I never knew Spa Ceylon had Hair Care products, so after a through search, found this ideal for my hair type, and purchased it the very next day! And the even best part, ITS ORGANIC AND PARABEN, PARAFFIN, SILICONE, SULPHATE & ALCOHOL FREEEEEEE! How to Use After shampoo, apply generously on wet hair, gently massage & comb through to ends. Leave for 2 min & wash off. For Total Care: Use after SPA CEYLON Neroli Jasmine Hair Cleanser & follow with SPA CEYLON Neroli Jasmine Hair Oil Mist. (I love how instead of FOR BEST RESULTS they've used the term FOR TOTAL CARE) Ingredients Aqua, Aloe barbadensis (Aloe Vera), Cetyl Alcohol (from Palm), Mel (Honey), Palmitamidopropyltrimonium choloride (from Palm), Olive Oil, Virgin Coconut Oil, Wheatgerm Oil, Tocopherol (Natural Vitamin E from Soya), Fragrance, Orange Peel Oil, Neroli Flower Oil, Bergamot Oil, Jasmine Flower extract, Phenoxyethanol, Disodium EDTA,Methylisothiazolinone (MIT) and methylchloroisothiazolinone. P.S. Methylisothiazolinone (MIT) and methylchloroisothiazolinone are preservatives that are usually sold and used as a mixture (trade name: Kathon CG).
They are part of the ketone family, a group of organic compounds, and the –one at the end of their name can be confused with the –one found in the names of some silicones.
These preservatives are water soluble.
Fragrance For most of you who doesn't know, Neroli is aka Orange Blossom, when combined with Jasmine, it simply reminds me of Orange Cream Biscuits or Some luxurious After Shave. It's like a perfume, with Neroli being the Top note and Jasmine the base, it's amazing how the various fragrances pop out at times. Sometimes it's the smell of Coconut, or Bergamot, or it's Jasmine. Texture Very thick, which makes the dispensing quite hard, but hey, you can always take the lid off. Application You require only a little cause it's thick, and unlike other conditioners, doesn't have that fake silky feel. It feels the same as it would when you apply oil instead. After After Half Drying:My hair didn't feel light as usual, it felt like it was weighed down by water, loads of it, and that is good. After my hair was completely Dry:Still the same, soft, hydrated and very less no frizz. (There is never zero frizz) After 2 days:To test how long the results last, I didn't wash my hair for 2 days, and I was very impressed, even after 2 days, still hydrated, soft, less frizz, less volume and defined curls. My Overall Rating:4.5 / 5 Price:1950 LKR for 250ml / 8.45 FL Oz (roughly around 13.15 US $) Is it worth the price?It is tad bit expensive for a conditioner, but considering its properties, the end results and that it is readily available, I'd say the price is not bad. But not everyone will be able to purchase it. Maybe their target customers are mostly foreigners.
I plan on using it only once a week, so for me, it will last longer. 😉
Even after 1 week, I'm still in love, and till I find another that could beat this in price and quality, this will be my favorite and go to conditioner.

Another Magic by Amaal, this and 'Itni Si' were equally loved by fans. If you've watched the movie, and if you loved Itni Si, loving this could be quite hard, especially if you are girl, no girl would want her man singing such words for another.
But as a solo song, a completely different love story, then yes, this is a song to die for. Perfect for those sleepless nights to listen on repeat. The 3 A.M and Up Kinda Song, you could put it on loop and just stare at the ceiling, and probably wonder about life in general.

I found this song by accident, while I was listening to a playlist on Gaana, and instantly fell in love. It Starts off like Sunn Raha from Aashiqui 2. That could also be a reason to like it, and towards the middle, the music is just wow. It definitely has the Aashiqui Soundtrack feel.
Even the movie has a 6.8 IMDB rating, so, yes, do watch the movie as well.

Speaking of finding songs by accident, here is another, again on Gaana.com , on an Armaan Malik Playlist. The Starting music reminds me of the 90's end. Heroine dressed in a plain chiffon or georgette saree, soft focused background, that is what you would visualize when you listen to it, after twice or thrice though.
Why twice or thrice you ask? Cause you never know when the song starts and ends. Sooooo good, if I could explain the song in one word, it would be 'Nasha'. Best of the best of Armaan so far.

Here is one which everyone will not like immediately, it takes time, even for me, adding this for the list was a battle.It's like aged wine or something, you listen to it, you can almost feel the weight of the years, even though it is a new song.
If you are on a road trip or vacation, and want something to listen at around 6 in the morning, while the place smells of wood smoke, and you are sipping black ginger coffee, here is the song. Also, don't forget to visualize the chicken coop. (Even though the video is not like any of this)
It's penned by Irshad Kamil, so not so easy to quote a lyric, everything is good, if you want to read the full lyrics with meaning, do click on the quoted words below.

The thing about ARR Songs, you listen to it, it's not love then and there, it takes a while, could be a day or half a day. You will want to listen to his songs without even realizing you are in love with it.
Tu Hai was such a song, I watched the video, and "Hmm, It's a nice song, not bad", later the same day, I'm on gaana, listening to it.

Back to the song, everybody loved it, from Day 1, and this could have also been a reason to go watch the movie in the theater, not that it's bad or anything, it's a good movie.
Even though it starts off like a regular female only love song, that moment when Armaan's voice joins, DAMNNNNNNN! Now you know why girls like him.

Dariya is such a song, I knew I'll love it the moment I listened to it, and I did love it. After Love you Zindagi, this is the most positive, very 5.45 AM kinda song,
It also feels like a typical Ayushmann Khurrana song for me, does it for you?

One of the most awaited movies in Bollywood, cause everyone wanted to know the life story of Captain Cool, and if Sushant can fit into his shoes?!. The Answer, HELL YEAH!
Back to the songs, unusually the songs became an even bigger hit before the release of the movie. All the songs from the movie was composed by Amaal, in 4 languages, so I don't see why it wouldn't become a hit.
Phir Kabhi is a very boyish, jovial, newly in love kind of song. With his New found fame AND love, how does MSD balance both? Watch the video to find out.

This is probably the song of the year, while literally everyone loved Jab Tak, this was loved by a certain crowd, a quite big crowd actually. The usual hindi song fanatics. And when asked what is your favorite from ADHM, they would reply with Channa Mereya.
Arijit's voice just gives a whole new meaning for loving the song.
